Gracie Hunt, the Kansas City Chief heiress, was born into a football family. As the daughter of Tavia and Clark Hunt, who is the chairman and CEO of the four-time Super Bowl-winning team, Gracie has always been part of the world of football.

However, at just 25 years old, Gracie has held a number of titles to her name, including philanthropist, entrepreneur, a women in sports advocate, as well as a fashion influencer. She’s also an athlete, won fitness awards in pageants, and was named Miss Kansas USA in 2021.

Gracie, who self-describes herself as the Chiefs’ “number one fan,” can still be seen on the sidelines of games, even though she has chosen to seek some fulfillment with endeavors outside of football.

An Early Passion for Sports

Gracie’s choice of sport as a child was soccer.

“I wanted to be the next Mia Hamm, and soccer was my first love,” she told PEOPLE Magazine.

Coached by her father from a young age, Gracie pursued the sport from her youth until she attended Southern Methodist University, where she says “a few too many” concussions took her out of the sport.

A Shift to Pageants and Philanthropy

Gracie would eventually fall into the pageant circuit, where she would come to win the title of Miss Kansas USA in 2021. She would combine this love for sports with her philanthropic pursuits, which would include working with Operation Breakthrough, as well as the SPCA, where she would work with the Great Plains branch to help rescue animals.

“The things that have been really important to me my whole life have been faith, family, football, and philanthropy,” Gracie shared. “Because I’ve always been raised with the mantra that, ‘To whom much is given, much is expected.’”

Pursuing the Future

However, even in the shadow of her football family, Gracie Hunt has clarified that she doesn’t intend to follow in her father’s career footsteps.

“When it comes to the Chiefs, there’s no ‘I’ in ‘team.’ It’s not about me,” Gracie has said, and added, “I am certainly so fulfilled by all the things that I have created for myself opportunity-wise outside of football. But it’s been a pleasure to be some part of something that’s greater than myself, to serve where there’s room and need, and to be their number one fan.”

Her work with the Chiefs Women’s Organization displays Gracie’s willingness to partner with local charities that make a difference in the Kansas City community. The organization serves in all areas, from homelessness to hunger. They’ve even built homes with Habitat for Humanity.

A Friendship with a Star

Gracie’s friendship with pop superstar Taylor Swift is something she holds dear. When speaking about it, she shares that “[Taylor Swift] is absolutely incredible, as the whole world knows, and it’s been such a special time to have her be a part of Chiefs Kingdom.”

Gracie says that having Swift in attendance at the Chiefs’ games has been somewhat surreal, adding that Swift has helped grow the team’s fanbase “between 30 and 40% from her attendance.”

Superbowl 2025

Gracie says that the next big exciting part of her life is in the 2025 Superbowl, where the Chiefs have set their sights on winning the biggest game of the year.

“I think everyone’s on the edge of our seats. It has been the most magical, surreal season in a lot of ways,” Gracie said.

However, even with the “hard playoff road ahead,” Gracie has said that she has “full faith” in her dad and his “leadership in the team” alongside Coach Andy Reid and President Mark Donovon.
